To be fair, tony wasn't exactly clear about Peter being spiderman, so rhodeys reaction is totally warranted. You got Peter spot on, just a kid who never shuts his mouth and never sits still, and also gets shot often. I'm excited to see the other 4 reactions!!

YAYY! New series!!!! Ok, the 5+1 things are my favorite and so is the avengers finding out that Spider-Man is a 15 year old kid from queens, so this fanfic is an automatic favorite. And OH MY GODS RHODEY WHAT THE HELL IM LAUGHING MY ASS OFF. When I thought of Rhodey meeting Peter I just thought it would be him yelling at Tony for inviting a kid for like 5 hours and then going “hey kid I’m your uncle rhodey”. But him thinking Peter is Tony’s biological son? That’s was just freaking hilarious. But seriously? Tony does care for him like a son, and I love reading about people acknowledging that. And yeah, Bruce will become Peter’s full time emergency doctor. It’s inevitable. Also the tweezers thing was awesome. Just absolutely awesome. The humor in this fic is great. Just Peter going Hey Mr. Rhodes cheerfully while casually bleeding out of two bullet wounds. Typical talkative peter and protective tony family fluff. All in all, an amazing start to a fanfic. I can’t wait until the next chapter! (Hopefully soon!)

Today I learned that when War Machine asks, "What the fuck?" he does NOT mean it rhetorically. Ever... especially when it involves shenanigans he's been dragged into by Tony. XDOMG, I'm already so completely in love with this story! This chapter had JUST the right amount of miscommunication... walking that fine line between being resolved before it even has a chance to blossom into a problem, and being drawn out too long to the point where you begin to wonder how dense everyone could possibly be to keep making things worse. XD Here it was just a perfectly reasonable assumption on Rhodey's part, coupled with what seemed like actually a pretty succinct explanation on Tony's part, and all eventually resolved over a couple bullet wounds in the medbay... lol! I can't stop laughing at the image of poor Rhodey wondering why in the HELL everyone is acting so calm over Tony's "son" being treated for bullet wounds (and barely batting an eye at his admission that he'd dug them out with his aunt's tweezers to boot). Also, Tony spilling the beans on crimes he's committed against his competitor to a random teenager with no warning has got to be a personal nightmare of Tony's Actually Responsible™ best friend. "I'm extremely proud of that coding, like hell I'm going to let someone else take credit." "Tony! Jesus Christ!" Hahaha!And just the fact that Tony took his friend all the way across the city, just so they could stand all cool in front of Peter's school and claim they were "in the neighbourhood" to give him a ride home (and to show Peter off a bit)... brilliant! I feel like this is exactly how Tony would go about introducing his latest recruit.I'm so excited for the rest of this story... especially the final chapter! But really all of it sounds like it should be quite a wild ride.

I love your stories! I’ve read all the stories you have on your profile and I love each one. Your characterization is so good! I feel like a lot of times when I read Peter and Tony stories, they kind of age Peter down in a way? I don’t know how to describe it exactly, but I love how you write them. The whole “Hey what’s up we were in the neighborhood this is Rhodey,” and Rhodey is just ? and Peter is !! is funny and also true to the source material. With marvel especially it’s hard to write in the same style and with the same mood the movies convey, but you’ve absolutely nailed it. I just adore your writing style! Can’t wait to see where this story goes!
