You're good with characterization. Victor is in some ways an everyman, with an ordinary job, even if he's the best at it, and average appearance. He has the courage to insist on doing the right thing (no human sacrifices, please) and the imagination to try doing something that may be unprecedented by deciding to talk to the dragon.Luckily the dragon saw more than middle aged average human or bitesized tidbit . Maybe he was curious at the start but he obviously took a liking to his unusual human. Since they are clearly a sentient being, I wasn't even haunted by beastiality/animal cruelty warnings from my conscience, so even the sex scene worked fine, although for me it was more fascinating than titillating. (Undoubtedly my problem, not your writing's!)

I can't tell you how much I loved this, like??? It hit so many of my favorite tropes and characterisations. Viktor being all sensibly practical and matter-of-fact about stuff, even when he's terrified. The maturity difference, and the dragon trying to impress him and getting all huffy when it isn't understood that way. The h/c. Just. Everything? Everything. Completely fantastic! 10/10, instant forever fave.

Hey, I just wanted to let you know that this is way, way sweeter than I would have ever expected and that's a great thing! I'm a sucker for porn with feelings and the build-up here to it is fantastic. The dragon feels so natural, especially being so young and new to everything human-related. They just want to be a real adult now, with a hard and a lair and a mate and everything.I'm not going to lie here, I'd be excited about a sequel. As many comments must have surely told you before, it feels pretty clear that there is something in the dragon's magic that could make Viktor's heat petition possible and, though I'm not often a big fan of mpreg, it would surely be fun to watch Viktor, so down to earth most of the time, going absolutely wild once he realizes.Anyway, thank you for your work very much!
