Okay, I love this. The description of Pete acting as a scared teen and then dissolving into mad cackles after is priceless! Lord knows I do the same after a good show (I'm an actress), or after I spin a yarn and people buy it hook, line, and sinker. There's just something so satisfying about people believing whatever you tell them, and you captured it perfectly!

Every time I stumble across this story I have to re-read it, it's so brilliant. Though the casual mention of Deadpool makes me yearn for a couple of sequels with the same situation but Wade with each of them, and an attempt on the same ruse, then one with all three of them. (though I imagine at least one of these scenarios ending with Deadpool giving up half-way through and yelling "look a distraction!" so that the other can try to escape. And then creating one when that failed.)

Peter is such a little shit, /oh my god/. And Matt- all of these characters were just handled so perfectly, and oh, I /laughed/. Awesome job.
