I love the creation story! Really amazingly well done! I especially love the humans choosing to go on their own and shape the world to them. What's your inspiration for the goddesses' names?I'm reminded a little bit of a graphic novel/comic called The Wake, which plays with the ideas of merpeople and human evolution in a post-apocalypse adventure. The mythology of that story is pretty different bc it focuses on concepts of evolution, but your creation story reminded me of it. You should check it out if you haven't read it.
