Hey, this was great. Like really great. I think we have all been where Peter's been, not wanting to be a bother, and just not knowing where you stand with people you care for. Just that feeling of not wanting to be in the way is something i know I've experienced to the detriment of my health, it's a horrible feeling. This story is absolutely lovely. I would kill to see what the Avengers reactions were when Peter was pulled out and while he was unconscious. There must've been some serious guilt and self-blame for all of them.

This is sweet and sad and really evoked some powerful feelings. Especially the mix of Peter using such characteristic humor while BLEEDING OUT and feeling completely abandoned, god, that's positively tragic. And everyone else just being completely oblivious - the way he was dismissed was really painful. Glad he learned better about what the team thought by the end. Another great story! <3<3<3I wondered how 'miscommunication' would lead to Peter not getting any help; you've offered an interesting, well-executed narrative.What I liked most about it, is that as a person, I have yet to find myself in Peter's situation (and let's hope it'll stay that way), but at the same time, I also did, in a way - when you put yourself and your well-being at the bottom of your priorities, caring for everyone so much you end up hurting yourself. I think the parallel incident with Clint really brought that out - as soon as Clint got hurt, Peter was worried and felt he needs to be taken care of, completely disregarding his situation, and not putting himself on the same level as Clint. So, really smooth! Other than that, I was kind of angry at Steve and Tony; they were IC, but like, Steve, bro! Make him specify! Catch his drift! Go through some standard procedures in the mission brief and/or the after-party of the welcoming Avengers committee!!! It's good he felt guilty afterwards. And Tony making Peter feel bad about talking over the comm - !!! (exclamation marks of anger!). Even though it wasn't his fault. Bruce was a sweetheart. I'm glad you wrote him in, he doesn't get enough appreciation. "Peter could do this. Until he couldn’t." was also a powerful way to open the story. And there's the fact that in my personal headcanon Peter is totally prone to panic attacks. In Safeguard, too, when he thinks of Uncle Ben dying in his hands - I love that your Peter is somewhat insecure, because his awkward penguin ways is what makes him so lovable. and uherm I'm sorry you've had bad couple of days and hope everything is better now :)

I just got into reading superhero fanfic, and this was my first Spider-man fic :) And I LOVED it!! <3 This was the fic that I didn't know I needed, but now I'm so glad I have it. Now, I just wish there were more like it. Then again, you've set the standard so high that I'd probably just be disappointed if there were others like it. It's such a great (and unique) idea for a fic, and it's just so perfect :D Seriously loved it <3 thank you for writing it!

So I've recently gotten into the habit of showing my appreciation for a story by commenting on it and I can see that this story has 62 comments on it so this might not mean a lot to you, but I really love your work. This is one of my most favourite stories on this website and I find myself re-reading this over and over again, I just can't seem to stay away! You're an incredibly talented writer and this story never fails to make me teary-eyed whenever I read it. I think you've captured everybody's characterization really well (Peter's especially). I'm not very good at expressing how happy people's stories make me, so I'm sorry if this feels a bit awkward or forced because I always read this fic when I'm feeling down.
