I have a feeling everyone but Melacor is going to regret just passing Harry off like an unwanted piece of fruit. How or even why Briar came up with Harry being a Pareya after a two minute meet and definitely no greet I have no idea. Harry might look tiny and meek but he is a powerhouse that does not forget how he is treated. I’m going to love sitting back and watching Harry show them all that judging a book by its cover is a very serious no-no lol.

I would like to think that this Lady Death is annoyed that her brother (another Death?) "allowed" himself to be connected to a human that looks weak or average.I'm a bit annoyed that Harry is basically a hot potato there, from Death to Lady Death to Aiden to Briar Evanson to training camp. Like, I know that he is a survivor, forged in fire and blood, also life isn't fair and there is no warm-fuzzy interest into his circumstances since he is a displaced no-name (from their POV) of an adult - it doesn't matter he knows close to nothing about being dragel (unless his Death gave him enough information on that front, Harry here has no dragel-worthy formal education or training, I think?) and was one all of 3 minutes.I wish for Harry to trace his lineage at some point and the canon connection where Briar is his grandfather to come to light. Were it my choice Briar's quick action of passing Harry over will bite him in his ass, simply because (in my mind at least) Harry's past experiences made him less of a forgive-and-forget type. He can hold a grudge and maybe somewhat unreasonable but he could hold less than warm feelings for Briar after what he did here.I'm interested in reading continuation, if only to see his training and coming into his power (some fics mentioned parts of dragel inheritance coming as late as 25... It makes me optimistic for stronger magic if not Necromancy).

Melacor is always such a cutie and very perceptive too. His boss just isn't paying attention. And Harry, a trained Auror but small, quiet and young, doesn't come off as the BAMF he really is.

Lord Aiden's mistaken is very huge. They will see Harry again because his family line.
