Already loving this! You're a great writer. There's such fine detail but not so much that it's too descriptive. I felt like I was in the memory with Harry. Really refreshing for a fanfic, it's like instead I'm watching a TV episode or movie!

At first, I ignored this piece because of the quick summary. But after some time I came back because the sheer length of it promised a pleasant afternoon read. I was wrong. I started it last night, dozed off partway, then couldn't put it down once I picked it up again in the morning. I dreamed about this fic last night and I swear that it'll visit me again tonight. It's definitely a slow burner. And every page break in a chapter squeezes your heart in anticipation for the next bit. Because every opening and ending to a break leads you in circles! The opening sentences gave away everything but nothing about what was to come, then the ending sentences were dreamy but so focused on creating your vision of the scene properly. There was so much detail packed into the adventures they had between every break. I don'the know. I could ramble about your work for ages and still be far from done describing how much of an impact it left on me. I love this fic, and I love you for setting aside time to create this wonderful piece of art. I hope you have a good day~

This is now one of my favorites. Everyone is saying it's beautiful and it is. It is just such a beautiful fic and *siiiigh* I just feel so....I feel so calm. It's unusual because it's not really sexy or exciting but it's gripping in such a quiet persistent way I couldn't leave it alone. Instead of leaving me feeling like I don't know what to do with my life it left me feeling like I sort of know now, and I took away from this fic much more than any author could intend for a reader to, I think. Am I being too profuse? I don't think I am. Quiet, moving, captivating, I love how the characters are painted, softly like a wistful watercolor. The same sort of depth as a fic like Turn but much more satisfying to me. The description is short but it doesn't need more than that because it's perfect and exactly what is says, the fic fills out in all the directions you could hope for it too ; the anticipation, the handling of Ginny/Harry, and Astoria, the long silent moments of drinking neat scotch...Anyway, Marry ME, eleventy7?Faithfully yours now,Lex ;*

This was so good.... I'm speechless. How the hell did you come up with something so great?! I was crying most of the time, the characters are so sensitive and intelligent. I loved it so much, thank you for writing it (you're an amazing writer)! It's definitely one of my favourites drarry fics. <3 It was the most tactful/thoughtful/delicate/subtle fic I've ever read.

Only read the first chapter so far, but I like what I've read. I like how Harry specifically bemoaned that he didn't like the investigative side, but that he's already pretty good at it, and seemingly with no real instruction on it. Makes me think that he was always better at it than he thought he was. And I'm actually rather hoping that the old case Harry shoved in his desk makes another appearance - either by being solved on the side as Harry looks for Draco, or by actually being connected to Draco's disappearance. Which then makes me wonder if Holdsworth is in on it or has some sort of knowledge that helps point Harry in the right direction, lol!

There's just one word for your story : it's MAGICAL ! Over the years, I've read quite a lot of Drarry fics, but I can freely confess, NONE had me gripping onto the story as much as yours. It was beautifully written, you somehow put an overall heart-wrenchingly sweet and almost dream like quality to each chapter. I have no idea how you wrote something so real, yet, so unearthly. I understand that nature plays a big role in this story, how you seamlessly kept the moods of nature in sync with the moods of the characters and the story in general.You have the gift of "painting with words" as it's said, each situation and character was so real, and the dreamy, poetic descriptions of the countryside were immensely fulfilling to read! Hi I don't usually do this, but I just need to somehow convey to you the impact your work has had on my life. I've read your fics multiple times over the years. Its been a constant source of comfort and escape, in a way that only the original series has been. I've read several fan content but somehow I'm always drawn back to these. Your writing has such depth even in its simplicity. You've managed to convey so much even without employing major plot twists. I think that's a mark of truly brilliant writing. It's the simple story line with the detailed focus on character development that makes your work so alarmingly pleasing and satisfying. I love every single one of your fics and each with a fierce loyalty because they're all great stories individually, but I'm partial to LM only because it was the first one I ever read. I came to read this for I read the translated version of liv on LOFTER and I found it so beautifully written, emotionally sensitive and delicate. And the comparison between the two fancied me. The way of expression in English, when meeting with Chinese, sparked a new kind of beauty(because it's not a usual/accustomed one). Thus my imagination, I should say, as a billingual reader, was stimulated. I feel like I'm reading a poem or sonnet or something. Anyway, thanks for writing such a brilllliant work! I really do love your writing style, it's quiet and eerie, written like that feeling you get in the dark when you're alone and at peace. But, strangely enough, that very tone I like so much makes it feel like it it isn't Harry Potter, I was interested throughout but for some reason just couldn't finish it. That being said, I desperately want you to write an original story, because you are brilliant.

I don't even know how to start, the difference between my expectation from the summary to what I've read is crazy. I was reading this fic in a bus going to another city, and the mood was just perfect. I feel like fics like this should be read somewhere still and quite, where you can be left alone with your thoughts... reflecting on life, your journey.I can understand how Harry fell in love with Draco. To be honest, I felt myself feeling the same way. Knowing their history, what they went through, being in that somber mood, seeing glimpses of who Draco is... it's amazing.And I really like the simplicty of this fic. Simple in the sense that it's not filled with climactic moments, rather things are often quite uneventful - when Draco came back, when Harry fell in love, when they said goodbye for a bit, when they finally got together.This is truly a fic that I will always cherish. Thank you for allowing me to become part of this world you created.

I don't think i could ever forget this story. I might forget the details of this story, but I don't think I can ever forget how it felt reading it. I dont think i can ever forget the journey you took me through. You took me through a journey where at the end of it, I can't figure out if the heaviness in my chest is me wanting to cry because it's over or if it's because I feel a deep longing to do the same thing they both did. To just take a break from everything. Reading through this story made me confront a lot of fears about my future as well, whether if I really do have passion over my career or if I'm only doing what is expected of me because I'm good at it. This is one of the fanfictions where I can really say will stick with me. I wouldnt read it again this year; it'd be too early; but i will read it again next year, just to remind myself to take a break before burning out, to take a deep breath and look at my past without cringing at it and instead, just accepting it happened and learn from it. My vocabulary is not expansive enough to let you know how thankful I am that you wrote this and shared it with your readers, but thank you so much for taking me on this amazing journey.

I'm not sure how to word how I feel about this. I kept thinking it was like poetry but now that it's over I think it was more like a painting. Your world moves so softly. I loved how you took the time to describe how light moves through out the story. I'm not sure if it was intentional but the moment when the car goes over the tracks and the light bounces and the moment when Draco is driving Harry home and the street lamps keep lighting up his face as they pass by are both etched in my memory... as if I watched a movie reel. The starkness of the apartment and the warmth of Astoria's cottage were so beautifully painted that I felt like I could almost reach out and touch it. Thank you for sharing this with us. I'm honestly a little choked up about how well written this story is.
