I really love this 'verse? It's kind a refreshing take on this idea and I really love that Tony has the most marks of anyone. Excited to see what happens when the team finds out, especially Steve and Bucky.

I'm torn. I want you to finish it because this is an awesome fic and I would love it to go on forever, especially since there is the possibility of a happy ending. On the other hand, the broken/not broken Tony at the end of this fic is so delicious and yummy and hurts so nice that this fic is also perfect as is.

Jesus, I have no words. This is breath taking. Please, PLEASE, finish this. Tony's characterization here burns. The simplistic way you inject meaning with each flower, the fact that Tony's body is a garden, how he's covered in his past because he feels so much and justtttttttt...this is amazing.

Man screw it I'm gonna comment twice. The fact that someone like Tony who hides his pain and buries it has a massive tapestry that just SCREAMS it to the world is so deliciously painful. That he has to cover it constantly because if anyone ever saw they would know who Tony is in essence. Someone who has been hurt and betrayed countless times, someone who loves those that he has deeply, someone who gives away too much and keeps too little for himself, someone who rejects the notion of surrender and has war in his heart...these are all things Tony conceals. Having his history printed out like this has to be terrifying for him. I can easily imagine his defiance when 10 rings saw his heart blossom, or the intimate connection he formed with Yinsen when he saw row upon row of betrayal written into Tony's skin. Gah, Tony throwing down his wristband like a gauntlet for Rhodey was so in character I'm sorry I've got zero chill about how much I like this!

I need, need this to be continued. Such a cruel place to leave off!Love the story behind each of Tony's flowers. Are the avengers going to find out about his other flowers?And Bucky and Steve, ho boy. Wonder how they're going to react to Tony's absolute blankness.
