Hi, I'm enjoying your story but I feel I have to say that birth control pills do NOT mean that you do not have to use condoms. The pill is only 99% effective and it doesn't protect against STDS, so Sheila definitely has gotten a lot of those. I know sometimes it is necessary for plot to not write safe sex in fiction, and I am not asking you to change your story in any way. However, it is incredibly important to be informed about these things so a quick author's note simply as a reminder for safe sex practices would give me peace of mind that readers know that birth control is not an alternative to condoms and you can still contract STDS.
