GUYS GUYS ITS TIME ITS HERE!!!I fricken love this book and this chapter was awesome, Theseus first mission. Someday Wilbur will regret not taking a picture for the family album. The phone metaphor Tommy uses really puts on display the effect Dream had on him. Like he didn’t even consciously considered the implications of it he just knows that’s how he’s been viewed in the past. Seeing Techno unmasked so early was shocking but definitely set the stakes high. But now I’m just picturing Tommy running into him in public and some point maybe at Niki’s or something. “Ayyy Blade!” “I will slit your throat”Wilbur is never letting go of the dumpster thing is he? He’ll bring it up when Tommy’s some big infamous villain to embarrass him “Y’know the first time I really talked to Toms was when I found him in a dumpster. Yah he was like a fucking raccoon” conveniently the fact he was bleeding out in said dumpster is left out. Also Tommy setting boundaries and ground rules? We love it see it even if they didn’t really get followed. Like the guys couldn’t have even kept the fight inside so he didn’t have to see? Being a bit inconsiderate there but they’ll probably be guilt ridden for it in the future. Backstory pog? Well not that pog it was extremely sad and traumatizing but really makes me wonder how he developed music as a coping mechanism. Scares me too hope he’s never stranded without a radio.
