How do you always put out such amazing fics?!? This one tugged on all the heart strings and was just perfect! I love Tommy’s relationship with the team and Tubbo and Ranboo. Watching him open up with them like a blooming flower made me so happy! I loved Phil stepping in and getting his coach to lower the practice times for him. And the whole scene where he used Tommy as incentive to do the drills right for the team (that had me laughing). It was really interesting how Wilbur came from a similar background which is why he recognized something was wrong and then how everyone on the team like Techno and Sapnap knew how to help a bit because they had practice with Wil. Oh, and George kind of threatening Tommy’s coach away when he was napping in Ponk’s office was amazing! I love how the whole team took one look at this quiet, sad kid and went “mine now!” The music for Tommy’s routine was perfect for him and the cheers from the team was so adorable. I loved the final confrontation with Tommy’s coach. Wilbur putting himself between them, totally prepared to take a hit just like he used to if it will keep Tommy safe, Techno finally laying him out because like hell was he going to let this jerk keep hurting the people he cares about and then George and Shlatt complaining that they couldn’t take a swing, it was all just so awesome. Honestly the whole thing was a beautiful piece of art! Thank you for sharing it with us!!!

Jaksjsjahdhshags I DO NOT HAVE WORDSi couldn't stop awing at tommy bonding with the gang, i cheered when Tommy decided that he wanted to keep his friends, i gasped in horror and said OH NO out loud when Tommy saw a piece of paper on the floor and was glued to my phone screen until techno found him. And oh, when Tommy stood up to his coach! Tommy stood up to his coach and his team had his back!!!! And then i yelled YEAHHHH GO TECHNO when he just knocked that bastard out. And Tommy smiling on the ice....i love this whole thing.There are sooooo many little moments that just blew me away - Tommy hesitating to take Wilbur's hand to help him up at the start and then taking Techno's hand when he fell playing hockey, Sapnap going after Tommy saying "i won't leave a teammate alone on yhe ice", the way you contrasted snowflake - used against tommy, cold, icy, the numbness he felt - to sunshine - a nickname given out of love, how Tommy was happy and free and it SHOWED when he skated!!!! Tommy being proud of himself and the work he's done!!!! Phil and Niki coming through at the end (Phil's reaction to Tommy's coach on the floor had me rolling) and telling Tommy, convinced there was no one to back him up, that he has a lot of people in his corner. I love it all. I got excited when i saw two writers i enjoy working on a fic together and it STILL blew me away.

I just want to say thank you. Thank you so much for producing a fic that all athletes can relate to. I’ve always struggled for perfection and been pushed by coaches and parents to the point of almost hating the sport. I never thought I’d relate to a fic so much especially one based on Minecraft YouTubers but I do. You’ve created a beautiful piece of work and it has quickly become my favorite piece of writing. So thank you again!

I have been in love with your fics recently so much so I just can’t go by without commenting, this was perfect. The way you described tommys emotions changing throughout the whole fic and the teams emotions as a whole was amazing, there was nothing more to do than to feel what the team was feeling because you feel so immersed I guess it would be? I love how you took it slow to how Tommy went to trust everyone and how he got into their hearts and how they got into tommys heart too, I spent like 2 hours here and I would do it over and over again. I started this with normal expectations Then you scooped my soul out, put it in a jar, added the most beautifully written words and story telling possible into the jar as well, shook it all up, and then put it back like you didn't just change my entire view of the world. And everyone except the boomer punching bag is a wonderful written character that I would die for. 😌

IM GOING INSANE. I used to go to figure skating classes, granted, I was very bad, but I thoroughly enjoy watching figure skaters. Tommy angst and him being a figure skater is everything I never new I needed. This is probably one of my favourite one shots of all time.The glacier metaphor in Tubbo’s point of view is going to stick with me forever and I hope you know that.I would commit every crime for figure skater Tommy. I want to do unspeakable things to his coach.THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR WRITING THIS. This satisfying something deep within me.

Dudes, oh my fucking god, I can't believe this! This was incredible, such an amazing rollercoaster of a ride that I absolutely adored! This was wonderful and made me so happy to read through and I was beyond ecstatic with how all the characters interacted and had time to shine. It's so hard for me to find stories that show this kind of love and friendship between Tommy and the others like Quackity, Schlatt, Sapnap, and George. I never knew I needed this story in my life until I read it and it was just golden! I an not really into sports nor am I fan but this has sparked a new love for sports related Fanfictions and made me want to expand my horizons on stories as well. Thank you for that. This was just so well written, such a brilliant piece of work that pulled on the heartstrings and yet felt like a hug. It was such a good read! I really look forward to whatever else is created!
