Yooo the chill and doom-sequel vibes at the end there for Harry. He must feel so much despair under the confusion and tumult in his mind. Kind of half looking forward and half NOT looking forward to a continuation, since that would just spell a bleak future for Harry.

Like so many others, I both desperately want more but don't at the same time lol.Will Voldemort learn how to actually be a father? How will his friends react? What is Dumbledore's plan? How will Harry cope?But that sense of 'what's going to happen' is also so clearly written in every other chapter that it also seems very fitting to leave it on that uncertain note as well.Absolutely brilliant story!

This might be my favourite fic from this years song of the summer set. Harry’s shocked horror and the ever increasing entrapment of his new position create a lovely tension, and you manage to set the scene for a massive au in a few short chapters.Theo is a favourite as usual, he manages to dance such a fine line in all your fics, maintaining his individuality whilst adapting to the new scenario. The quiet acknowledgment of how Harry would obviously feel a lot of anxiety with the parentage reveal while still pushing him forward on the path is masterful.Would absolutely love if this was continued some day, but it works really well as a self contained stand alone. 10/10.

I love seeing a Voldemort who is still evil but tries to be Harry’s parent without Harry going dark. That seems surprisingly rare for some reason. It really sets the ground for some beautifully messy emotions and mixed loyalties.I’m really enjoying how Theo and Draco interact with him, too. That’s another surprisingly rare plot point, having Voldemort give Harry a follower like this. I’m enjoying how it feels like a relief to Theo, a type of freedom, and how that seems to be echoed a bit more cautiously by Draco.❤️❤️❤️

Loved this. Such an intriguing start with Voldemort being a strict but kind of affectionate father? At least his own brand of affectionate. Harry meanwhile being torn to hate Voldemort but at the same time receiving more support and structure than he has had in years. I would love to read further if you ever decide to continue. Curious on how Harry would juggle 6th year instruction along with interactions with the light side and dark. The setup is perfect for a lot of intrigue.

I really hope this is an idea you choose to turn into one of your long fics. I would love to read a well written fic where Harry is Tom’s son. That’s one I haven’t come across yet. Enjoyed it! Thank you!

I really wonder what Snape makes of all this. I think he probably still hates Voldemort and would report to Dumbledore. If Dumbledore knows, I suspect he's all the more committed to Harry's death. Honestly I wouldn't put it past him to have heard everything from Snape but pretend not to know in order to guide Harry.

Harry’s clearly overwhelmed and just doing his best not to get anyone killed, including himself, but I’d love to see a future in which he takes more decisive action… really in any direction. Maybe he starts to subtly resist Voldemort and counter his actions. Or maybe he gets fed up with the naïveté and blinkered perspective of the Gryffindors and the Order and leans into his power and status more… The undertones of NottPott were so palpable here so I’d also be super intrigued at what THAT would look like in this AU.

Harry keeps saying whatever Voldemort wants to hear, and is breaking his own spirit at the same time. Poor Harry. But I wonder if this is leading to some miscommunication between them...I do wonder why Harry isn't more assertive here and fiery and why he doesn't stand up for (if not himself) then for others. I mean, he goes with the flow, and doesn't even try to argue or convince. Like, maybe delay the Markings, stuff like that. Or make the spell less painful.

I want to see how Harry deals with the split between him, Ron, and Hermione. What the fuck has Dumbledore doing, if not wondering where Harry is? It definitely makes sense that Voldy is protective. Harry holds a piece of his soul, and is his heir. I think Harry’s reactions are kind of muddled/delayed right now. Like, it’s not hitting him yet that for Voldemort to die he has to die. Very interesting story!!

The thought of Voldemort TRYING is still.mind boggling. Still loving Theo and hope they get together, but that's my bias showing. Harry could say where he was is under the Fidelis so he can't say anything after all they didn't message him until they seen his house burnt down. Wonder what volde would do if someone tried to love potion Harry. Sorry Ginny it won't fly (headcanon).

This might be my favourite fic from this years song of the summer set. Harry’s shocked horror and the ever increasing entrapment of his new position create a lovely tension, and you manage to set the scene for a massive au in a few short chapters.Theo is a favourite as usual, he manages to dance such a fine line in all your fics, maintaining his individuality whilst adapting to the new scenario. The quiet acknowledgment of how Harry would obviously feel a lot of anxiety with the parentage reveal while still pushing him forward on the path is masterful.Would absolutely love if this was continued some day, but it works really well as a self contained stand alone. 10/10.

I love seeing a Voldemort who is still evil but tries to be Harry’s parent without Harry going dark. That seems surprisingly rare for some reason. It really sets the ground for some beautifully messy emotions and mixed loyalties.I’m really enjoying how Theo and Draco interact with him, too. That’s another surprisingly rare plot point, having Voldemort give Harry a follower like this. I’m enjoying how it feels like a relief to Theo, a type of freedom, and how that seems to be echoed a bit more cautiously by Draco.❤️❤️❤️

Curious on how Harry would juggle 6th year instruction along with interactions with the light side and dark. The setup is perfect for a lot of intrigue.

Or maybe he gets fed up with the naïveté and blinkered perspective of the Gryffindors and the Order and leans into his power and status more… The undertones of NottPott were so palpable here so I’d also be super intrigued at what THAT would look like in this AU.

Harry keeps saying whatever Voldemort wants to hear, and is breaking his own spirit at the same time. Poor Harry. But I wonder if this is leading to some miscommunication between them...I do wonder why Harry isn't more assertive here and fiery and why he doesn't stand up for (if not himself) then for others. I mean, he goes with the flow, and doesn't even try to argue or convince. Like, maybe delay the Markings, stuff like that. Or make the spell less painful.
