Wow that immediately eye catching opening and all the way to the riveting closing. Love how you described Draco and the tone of the narration. So smart to have Hermione’s research in the cloud/computer. Of course a dark wizard wouldn’t be able to figure that out on his own. And then the ending!! Quickly going to the next chapter haha

Ahhhh, this is off to such an excellent start! I adore everything here. This Hermione firmly has one foot in both the magical and muggle worlds and she's found such interesting ways to use that to her advantage. I loved the hacker moment! This Draco is snarky and competent and self-serving and I am so into the characterization you're developing for him. I was so glad to see Tonks was one of your canon divergence decisions. Putting her as head of the auror office is something I don't think I've seen before and I love the way you've shown her competence and growth but let her keep her humor and a bit of clumsiness. Your writing style has some delightful, Austen-esque snark too - I literally laughed out loud a bunch of times at the beginning of the chapter! I'm so excited to keep going!

Loved the decoy door in chapter 1! And really liked this exchange - "A Hacker.” “Yes,” said Granger, offering no further explanation of the violent term. - the capitalisation of Hacker somehow really stresses out how Draco has no idea what Hermione is talking about but would also rather die than ask... I've seen a lot of hype on reddit (glittercooch is your username???? well done) but it was really a friend that kept sending me snippets that convinced me to drop everything on my TBR and start reading. I have been giggle snorting my entire way through this chapter. Really. The sounds I'm making are embarrassing. Good thing I eat lunch in my office.I know you advised not to look too closely at the plot (hah!) but my gosh from a technical standpoint I'm so impressed by how you pack so much into a sequence. You've got minute details that set the scene for the reader and add humor, provide backstory without exposition, give insight into Draco's mindset via his hilarious impressions of his surroundings and the people he interacts with, and what they think of him, and you manage to do it all without bogging down the story. I'm pretty new to creative writing. I try to be economical by having scenes accomplish multiple objectives at once and not having any filler at all (I totally agree with you on that one) but I'm just really impressed with your style and how you pack so much into so little, and have me sniggering the entire time.also? I adore your characterizations. Draco, Hermione, Tonks - I love them all and the banter is off the charts. Really looking forward to this one. Hope you don't mind me spamming your comment section.

It’s taken me days to write this because I did not know where to begin… Just in case this gets long –TLDR: I don’t care that it’s a WIP, this piece of literature is a BLESSING to this website. Start it NOW.I know we all have our favorite books, that transport us directly into the pages. The words seem to float like images as we read, inhaling the story presented to us. I’m sure many of you, like me, are here in the first place because the Harry Potter series provided you with that is escapism. At times it’s hard to grasp that this content is free. Simply put, it’s a breathtaking piece. The level of detail put into every element of the plot is mesmerizing. It feels like being part of a live painting, the author providing the canvas, paint, and brushes, for us readers to cast vibrant brush strokes – filled with colour and impeccable detail. A painting that engrosses you, leaving you never wanting to look away. Alongside the vividness of description, is the laugh out loud banter. Clearly if one is reading a Draco Malfoy piece, you are looking for humor. The author has successfully created (in my opinion) one of the best depictions of Draco and Hermoine. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve burst out laughing, or reread the detail put into Hermoine’s heroics. Everything makes sense, because the time has been taken to word complicated parts of the plot into a digestible manner (but not in a “dumbed down” way.)The thing to really hit home about though, is our author being on their THIRD go around of Grad School. THIRD. Taking personal time out of what I can only assume is an extremely heavy workload, to write this. I often finish a chapter and sincerely wonder if the Hermoine Granger depicted in this story is actually our author. The level of grammar, technicality, and vocabulary is impeccable – it’s no surprise that you excel in Academia.I cannot thank you enough, for providing “Draco Malfoy and the Mortifying Ordeal of Being in Love,” to such a niche fan base. While I eagerly await each update, I understand the best things take time. Please, if there is somewhere I can send a Starbucks card (I can only assume one needs copious amount of caffeine for such heavy thinking, and detailed writing) do not hesitate to reach out.
