Time to reread this story again, yeah? This is maybe the third time. Although to be fair to Dumbledore, he made a lot of mistakes and did a lot of bad things, but Umbridge was Fudge’s fault— Dumbledore had lost a lot of respect at that point and Fudge took the opportunity to put his lackey in a position of power at Hogwarts— and Lockhart, if I recall correctly, was literally the only person who applied for the position that year.

This…is glorious. There are a lot of things I like about this and I'm not great at picking out and articulating it all, but some things I will say is I find the town/setting and descriptions very imaginative and cool, and I also really like Harry's interactions with Gordon Ramsey. It feels genuinely like it's from Harry's perspective. I'm very excited to read on!

I'm not usually one for RPF (no offense meant), but this looks like so much fun and I'm definitely going to keep reading! Seriously, this whole first chapter made me positively gleeful. :D

I really like this premise! This will be rather interesting to read./direct comment to in-story character incoming/Ah Dumbledore... one of the few hypocrites I can think of that would manipulate a teenager's fully, 100% justified disdain for an arrogant man-child to his own ends, and then self-righteously chastise said teenager in the same breath. All with a straight face.
