It’s like she’s in a bell jar and, ugh, it’s such a gorgeous visual!!! I’m so excited about this story! I don’t usually ask authors to update…because it’s super rude…and you only JUST posted this…but I need MORE TOTKO, I NEED MORE!!!

Damn this is good shit. It's cool that you'd been inspired by Deathdoll's stuff! They make real good shit, too. Your one has a really similar vibe to their stories, especially Alexi's dark character and Kathryn's demure innocence, but it's still distinct from their writing. You're doing a great job! 😁

Ahh but this is lovely. Your writing is really quite something! The dialogue in particular - I LOVED the little exchange about burning cars, it felt so real and grounded. Very much looking forward to reading more and seeing how this develops!I confess that my biology-geek brain went into a bit of a tailspin at the mention of blue orchids! The only orchid genus that comes close to having blue flowers are the violet Vanda, and they're often quite expensive and not widely available, and also grown in hanging planters rather than pots... Usually the blue orchids we see in shops are white ones that have been dyed, and Kathryn doesn't seem the type - but perhaps they were a gift? WHAT DOES IT MEAN?! ...and then I realised I'm probably just overthinking this xDDD

I know I'm extremely late to this story but...Oh my god. I can't wait to read it in full. After greedily devouring every one of DD's stories and not being able to find anything else as dark - you are my savior, I am so excited.

While there are a few grammatical, punctuation and spelling errors I can easily get past that since it's such a well woven story. However, I am unclear of Alexi's last name as the author misspells it multiple times. The author spells his last name as both Alsanov and Aslanov and it's very confusing when the author can't seem to decide the correct way to spell the MMC's last name.

This has a lot of potential. I really like how dosile she is. It is a very refreshing change from other stories where the women are super hostile and defiant, and annoying. I'm hooked.

I came to this story for the spiciness a few weeks ago, after reading Daisy Chain. Well, I’ve never been one for plot in these types of stories but holy shit. I just finished service and now I’m up for a reread of this, because I know I wasn’t reading it super thoroughly until at least chapter 10 or so. I should have commented sooner, really, but I copy paste it into a text to speech app to listen to on drives so I just am rarely actually online reading it. Excellent work! I adore Kate and Alexi. I am fascinated by the world building, how you incorporate the lives of the rich and foreign languages just feels really real. Psychology also makes complete sense, even if it’s obviously super horrible when NOT fiction. But because it’s fiction it’s fine, and despite not being super into half the shit that goes on personally, I stay for your undeniable writing skill and grasp of really complicated fucked up characters.

I'm intrigued by this girl. Will read on!

I just have to say that I feel like the author went on a little tour on my mind and then wrote a story with all my kinks exactly how I like it. I don’t feel comfortable reading books with the daddy kink, but the way she brought the kink in the story made me realize that I do have the kink lol. I loved how alexi was this authoritative figure and how he made Kathryn do exactly what he wanted. The writing made me realize that the excitement came exactly from the fmc having to obey and depend on the mmc on everything. While reading I couldn’t stop thinking that it truly takes one to no one and I m grateful that the author spent time writing this. The author in some comments mentions that the work is kind of a copy of deathsdoll, but I don’t think so, I see a unique point of view and even though I love deathsdoll work I didn’t felt as connected as to this author. I could read eternally the continuation to this story and I hope is from the end.

Just stopping by to say that I'm reaaally curious to read this story as it has been recommended on reddit a lot. But I usually read fics once they're completed. So I will come back when the time comes. In the meantime I just wanted to drop a comment and say you have a reader in the future too! :) Can't wait!

This is incredible, the writing is so good, I really feel the emotions of both MCs. I read a lot of romance, dark and contemporary, and I can’t tell you how many I DNF because the characters don’t behave in a way that feels authentic. If a character is a violent and brutal person, they don’t meet a person and immediately change who they are. You stayed true to the character of the MMC and the FMC, which I love. The development of the emotional attachment is gradual on both sides. The FMC doesn’t fall in love the second she sees the MMC, and the MMC remains true to who he is even as he falls in love. I wish every writer of dark romance would read this story to see how to develop a true dark romance.

Ok, I have binged this in two days and am immediately getting withdrawals. Lady, I need the party scene, please. FINALLY, something of this genre with actual good writing. Perspective changes, the whole mafia plot is actually so interesting, side characters, dialogue, descriptive language, the whole shabang, hell yes. This could be 1600 pages, and I would not get bored.
