Finally! Someone else out there doesn't believe the whole 'epic bromance' between Tony and Bruce!That final scene hit me a lot harder than it seems to have a lot of other people in the fandom. Most people seem to have brushed it off as this funny little thing. But what I took from it was Bruce saying; Why are you bothering me with your problems? We're not friends, I don't want to have to listen to you whine? His throw away comment about 'not being that kind of doctor says to me 'go hire someone to listen to you, I'm not interested.' You don't have to 'be that kind of doctor' to listen to your friend try to work through a problem, especially after a traumatic incident. Tony didn't ask for advice he asked Bruce to be interested in him, to be a friend.As for Tony brushing it off as if it was a joke, well, what else was he supposed to do? Bruce had *just* finished proving that he had no interest in Tony's friendship and emotional health. Was Tony supposed to show this person how much it actually hurt to have proof that they were work colleagues, and nothing more? Realistically if someone that I want to be friends with expresses fairly conclusively that they have no desire to be friends with me, I don't go up to them and say, 'I really wanted to be friends with you and you just hurt my feelings', instead I pretend nothing has happened and our current relationship is all I want. That's just human nature; to protect ourselves.

I read the entire fie(so far), but my process is difficult. Either way, HELLS TO THE YES. Yes a million times over. This is a beautiful pice of creativity I am 300% behind. Go you. I eagerly await your next update(please don't take this as me demanding one, I just want to properly express how 'yes' this pic is).

Awesome chapter! Please tell me that Jarvis survives...Keep up the good work! It doesn' matter if we have to wait for the next chapter as long as necesary for it to be as good as the rest of this awesome story! ;)

I think I might have read this fic like, four times now? And yet here I am, coming back for number five. I love it, is what I'm trying to say. I especially love the whole fall of SHEILD thing you do here, because I had not concidered any of those consequences at all before, and it really opened my eyes to how horrifying CA:WS actually was. Also Jarvis, I adore your Jarvis. He's such an adorable murder baby and I love him. Not to mention, the entire SI! Seriuosly, I almost like the build up chapters you do the most because the character development and the world building in them are amazing. Thanks for writing this! I'm gonna try to be better about leaveing feedback in the future, cause I have been informbed by Tumblr that it's what all the fanfic-writers want for christmas. I love this story! It’s very creative and shows what was going on with Tony during other movie sequences that were focused on other members of the avengers. I personally love how you portrayed JARVIS as someone incredibly protective of Tony. I also love the relationship that those two have with each other. I also found Ultron’s obsession with Tony and his brilliance incredibly funny and I’m sorry but there were times that I just could NOT stop laughing about that. I also found Vision being JARVIS’s son both endearing and hilarious, Peter Parker’s hero-worship of Tony, having a geek out about Tony becoming his mentor, and Tony’s mini freak out about becoming a mentor and role model to someone is also included in that category. I can’t wait to read what you have in store for us next because this is definitely one of my favorite Avengers fanfics to read and it’s one that I know that I’ll never get tired of reading over and over again.

I just found this through a link from another fic, and OH MY does it look good. Best thing though: I read author notes before I start a fic, usually, and this just gobsmacked me. "part of why Tony went 'hey, let's bring in a fifteen-year-old to this, seems legit' is because he legitimately thinks it is, thanks to his own childhood. His reasoning being, 'hey, I designed my first bomb before puberty, and some of the few memories I have of Howard are of him bringing me to work, this is actually safer than some of the shit I got up to at his age!' so...yeah."I'm relatively new to MCU so getting up to speed (as in, 8 or 9 weeks ago, I had no real idea who any of these folks were, lol) but I've heard tons of griping about Tony dragging a kid into the Avengers' family squabbles. This is the first explanation I've seen that makes TOTAL sense. Of course, Tony really only has his own experience to color his perceptions. And why the heck I didn't think of it myself, I have no idea. Bless you!(also, Tony can be my evil overlord anytime, accidentally or not. Just sayin'. hehe) <3Can't wait to read this! I came in from a link from Era_Penn's post of the SWORD logo and if the rest is anything like the first chapter this is gonna be great! I'm VERY discontented with the MCU right now thanks to the accumulation of badly thought out bits, many meant to be funny, like Bruce just plain not caring about the trauma of one of the few people left who aren't afraid of him and care about hm. It was a jaw dropping WTF moment. I'd make a list of some of the other moments of stupid by the creative team but I have a feeling you have your own list and they probably overlap. I adore JARVIS and JARVIS in protective mode is a close second to Snark Master JARVIS as to why.
