this is a really beautiful story and even quite some time after originally reading this, it remains one of my favorite drarry stories to date. i was going through the archive and i happened upon this, and while i was reading it, i noticed it was awfully familiar - so i clicked my fanfiction link and scrolled through my bookmarks and - yep, there it was! i'd read it quite some time ago, but it was a pleasure to find it out of the blue and relive it again. it was a little like finding an dear old toy you had lost quite some time ago, and when you finally find it, a sudden bout of nostalgia rushes forward. that would be my feelings reading this. i'm so glad that this fic got the attention and feedback it deserved on this site - ao3 has a lovely bunch of readers. well, i think that's all i've got to ramble about. thank you for posting this on ao3 and allowing me to rediscover it! :)

Oh, this story was perfect! I love how Draco was so nice to Golye... All moral supports have to do is eat chocolate and make small talk! That was precious. And I loved how Ron and Hermione were so cool with Draco, treating him like any other classmate and letting bygones be bygones. Ron doing casual things like plonking himself in an armchair in between Draco and Goyle, and speaking to them in a friendly manner really gave me a warm fuzzy feeling. And of course Hermione would charm their entry centaur to remind them to do homework! The best of all was Harry. I loved how protective he was of Draco: covering Draco with his cloak (smelling of autumn, grass and fresh green apples, no less) and getting so upset when Draco drank the vial of Calming Draught. This story had me rooting for Draco all the way. Well done! Very well-written.

I love this story. Here are the notes I made while reading, basically me fangirling all over this fic!!! "I seem rather nice" - I don't know why, but I literally giggled like a school girl when Harry said this. It just fit so perfectly into his sassy/sarcastic nature, and I just LOVE it. Pomfrey finding them kissing: holy shit, I went red on their behalf. Perfect "save" from Harry. Yes, things are heating up. I love Weasley's reaction. It was childish enough for him, but not so childish that it seemed like he was younger than he was. Grumpy House is perfect! I wanna join - except this story is making me so far from grumpy :D OMG Harry's reaction to the Patronus was PER-FECT. God, that ending. I am giddy. Thank you so much. I haven't read Harry/Draco in ages, but I am so happy I picked this one to get back on the horse - or stag.
