Only thing I can think of that Harry would know about James that's not common knowledge would be Prongs. He could maybe get some common ground with Lily via shared knowledge of Petunia, but I doubt any of them would care to go that route.Bickering is top tier. I hope we get more, especially them knowing random facts about each other, because you pick things up when you've been feuding for most of a decade.Hyped to see where this goes.

I like the way you portray James and Sirius. Good people, striving to become better (and it is clear that James will clearly become more responsible when he finds out that Lily is pregnant and he will become a father), but spoiled naive in the sense that Harry has never been (not dramatically).I like the bit that Sirius Black will notice that the accent is not as chic as expected not from a noble, but from a rich family.Shouldn't Harry have started working on the release right away? Do not scratch his tongue, knowing that they can be overheard? Doesn't look like him at the end of the last book. He's drmatic, but not dumb. And why talk to Draco so much? Again, he is very merciful and sympathetic (he offers Hitler remorse in the end), but he knows for sure that although Draco is not ready to kill by looking into his eyes, he can still convince himself to do it in the end. Convince yourself,for the sake of the family, that it's not important, and so on. He is very kind, but he does not deceive himself about people.Wait, is this Harry who decided to go on the warpath when he was digging Dobby's grave? Oh, he's pretty determined and cold-blooded, he has a very sharp intuition in book chronology, so I can definitely imagine that he will be angry, given how he was eager to finish the quest at all costs when he got into that room. I know he talks so much for plot and drama purposes, but it's a bit thick

Hello, I am obsessed with this fic. My go-to daydreams about Harry Potter involve pretty much this scenario devolving into various endings, and this story perfectly scratches that itch!! I really appreciate the slow build-up of their trust in each other and the situation in which they find themselves, but most especially I adore the crescendo of Lily joining them and Harry just immediately surrendering himself to this as a very real possibility. This story is beautiful, and when/if you post the sequel, I will be there to devour that as well!

I love their bickering. So they aren’t friends. They were in the middle of the Battle of Hogwarts when they got sent back in time. Hopefully the present day is paused or Voldemort will be pretty angry that he can’t find Harry. Love how James and Sirius and even Dumbledore are very confused. Lol. Great start. :)
