ohhh no! I hate when Draco suffers like this. Surely they worked through all their baggage before they got together the first time and now he has to relive it?! and why to I get the feeling they were they trying for a baby before she lost her memory :( so sad - but I'm loving it already!

Ok so I'm really a silent reader usually but I felt like I HAD to comment on this story. It's only chapter 1 but I'm already hooked. First off the way Draco was introduced acting straightup terrifying already had me feeling how deep his emotions ran for Hermione. I love how that's juxtaposed with how careful he is around her later when shes discharged and probably had some time to calm down and be more rational about the situation. The small details like Draco reading Hermione's old copy of The Count of Monte Cristo or telling her about her not so secret sweets stash also really add to the feeling of the story. All the times he has to occlude though has me feeling so bad for him since that's probably keeping him from breaking down on the spot. Both of Draco and Hermione are going to be in for a most likely frustrating ride but I'm going to enjoy it lol.I cant wait to know more about their lives such as what's been happening in their flat since there seems to be so much history to be revealed. Sorry this is so long but keep it up!

I’m really enjoying the way you’re telling this Tory, particularly the way you describe Draco’s occlumency and the way she can see him breaking down all these emotions in his eyes while maintaining this calm controlled facade. It’s so heartbreaking from his perspective to not only deal with the anxiety of the person you love being injured but for them to wake up and not remember loving you...

I'm aching for this.“He invented a potion to remove it,” Ginny said, nodding at Hermione’s bare arm. “He gave it to you the Christmas before you started dating.” --> They're... AHH, this hurts.The way Draco and Harry have a nice relationship for her sake, AHH.I truly love Harry and Hermione's friendship too.I love the fondness with which he talks about their life and her. And the fact they've got very Slytherin colors in their house is marvelous and hilarious. She flipped more and stopped, nearly jumping out of her own skin. In red ink, at the top of three days that week, was a single word, once again written in her own hand, and underlined far too aggressively: sex. --> I love this detail. The way she's rigorous enough and it would translate into their married life.Oh, he's occluding.The small torture box she sends him hearts on AHHH.The way she felt the memory loss was some kind of recompense, aw, my heart aches for her:'(But the thing that gave Hermione pause, that stopped her in her tracks and pulled at her heart with a familiar feeling of longing she’d never before felt directed towards the man in front of her, was the sight of Crookshanks, curled in a ball and fast asleep on his chest. --> AHHH, I love their previous-to-the-memory-loss relationship. How domestic they were.This was very well-written and the plot is marvelous! I'm really looking forward to reading more of this. Thanks for writing!

I don't know if it's just me and I'm super emotional today, but I CRIED, like I cried.The moment she entered her parents house, I wept with her. Gah! You started this so beautifully. I love the first chapter!

I'm obsessed with your work. Like seriously! It's like the best fanfiction I have ever read. And I have been reading dramione fanfiction for like 4 years. But I've never waited so desperately for a new chapter before. It's so addictive!! English is not my native language so sometimes I don't understand some fanfiction very well or when I do understand them the sentences are too simple, so that it is boring.But your style of writing is both interesting (I love your metaphors) and easy to read.Also, I think that the way you answer the comments on Tumblr is so sweet.

I rarely comment fanfictions anymore due to lack of time and language barrier that doesn’t allow me to always express how I feel, but I really want to commend you for this fic. Not only I liked the plot, but I really, really loved how well written this is, not only for the dialogues, but for how well built the characters are and how detailed and poignant yet light the narrative feels. I expected this final chapter to have hermione regaining her memories, and yet you found an unexpected ending that is way more perfect and complete that her remembering again would have been. I really look forward to reading more of your works

Wowwwww!!! I stumbled upon this fic yesterday and have basically been reading it non-stop! It was absolutely wonderful! I loved the journey of seeing Hermione come to terms with her missing memories and finally open herself up to Draco...and Draco! He was absolutely divine in this fic! Sexy, sooooo supportive, and adorable at times too. His dimple....ugh....and all of his smiles! I definitely was falling mad in love with him right along with Hermione. I'm just there's so many lines of this id love to quote But that whole scene of Draco screaming and roaring for his wife God my heart was already breaking & gosh I can't imagine the discomfort and total reality disconnect this must be for Hermione to lose so much of herself also heart breaking but there's also somewhere between the lines of heartache a hope that comes through in your writing This is just so packed full of emotion already & you've got me absolutely hooked You've such a wonderful way of writing that just pulls you in My heart aches everytime she calls him Malfoy That end scene 🙃😭🤗 both teary and hopeful💚💚

I was rec'd this by a friend and I'm so glad she did!I've not read a lot of memory loss fics (I'm not sure why) but I'm really looking forward to reading the rest of this one 😃I like how Hermione and Draco and dancing around each other, so unsure but my heart bleeds for poor Draco! I can't imagine having my other half lose his memories of us and then have to try and not overwhelm them.Draco occluding shows just how much he's having to restrain himself and I hope that Hermione find it within herself to trust him.I also really like that Crookshanks is still alive and being a testament to Draco's good character.

I am so excited to finally be reading this! This first chapter pulled me in immediately (also, lime green robes, St. Mungo’s, really?!) and has me feeling allll the feelings.Poor Hermione! Working through all the things she’s lost and everything she now has that her 2001 self didn’t know/want... Poor Draco! Having to toe the line between his feelings and their past and Hermione’s reality. (Really, is there anyone more perfect for that, though?) (Also, is it weird that I always feel WAY worse for the spouse who still has the memories in these situations?! Thank f*ck for Occlumency!) Draco at the door of her hospital room! Harry and Ginny! Oooh, the mysterious guest room... (Thanks for affirming my belief that Draco is a boxer brief man — I’ve thought that all along.) Hermione meeting with her parents! Old Crookshanks sleeping on Draco’s chest! I can’t handle it all!!! (But, off I go to devour the rest...)
