With all my poor heart... this last scene was so wonderful, I can already feel the connection between them and it was painful to see them part, even though they will meet again for sure... I CAN’T WAIT FOR NEXT CHAPTER!Also, the soundtrack is phenomenal. I usually can’t concentrate on what I read if I’m listening to music, but these tracks do not have lyrics so they are perfect for me! Annie, you've truly done it again. here i thought there couldn't possibly be a fic more creative and original than investigative journalist fuck buddies turned lovers taking down a gang, but MERPEOPLE???? ANNIE!!!! i've been reading a lot of fantasy fics recently and have been really, really enjoying them, so when i saw the sneak peak on twitter of merman jimin from none other than annie_vi3 my jaw literally hit the floor. i love everything about this so much. i think my favorite thing about fantasy is that it's entirely up to the author so i have no expectations nor predictions! this world is yours and i'm just in for the ride :) everything you've created about merpeople so far is very interesting! i like how you took the approach of having merpeople as predators, and i love the idea of their ability to gain knowledge through touch! really really cool! on to jk and jm.... already in love with them :') so much to learn from each other about their respective worlds. don't even get me started on the Mating Bond and Soul Bond tags ahhh!!! jk is absolutely everything (as usual) and jm... ugh i'm just so excited to read more about this jm character!! (ALSO! now we have Lee Heeseung?? Annie, you're just hitting all my fav groups now!!!)when you finished DLC, it was very close to the end of my fall semester for school, and now Like Everything Glows has been posted the weekend before my spring semester will start. reading your weekly weekend fic updates has always been a huge treat for me after a tough week of non stop classes and assignments, so i'm just really thankful that you share your work with all of your readers :') i'm sure this fic was anticipated by many and i just have to say you 100% did not disappoint. it's already another Annie-masterpiece. it makes me really happy that you decided to write a fic that's completely different than anything you've ever written before, but then again, all your fics are so distinct and special in their own ways <3 once again, thank you for such an amazing beginning! i'm really looking forward to this story! kudos kudos kudos!! :)

When I was younger I use to read a lot of books about merpeople and this feels so nostalgic! But I really like that merpeople are predatory creatures, it’s a different dynamic then what I’ve previously read. Annie’s done it again. Gone and started another MASTERPIECE!! As an environmental scientist with a penchant for marine science, I loved every second of this fic. From the the MMRC and rehabilitation, to sunsets and late night beach strolls, it was just so entertaining and enjoyable. The world you’ve created of merpeople is incredibly fascinating and I can’t wait to learn more about it!! This first chapter was such a good introduction and I’m very excited to see where it goes from here. I’m already picturing a merman Tae in the future haha!Lastly I just wanna say Olafur Arnalds is hands down my favorite contemporary composer and I was pleasantly surprised to see his pieces here.
