This is amazing. And I'm most pleased with little shit JARVIS and the thought of a messaging program through which the A.I. vents to Rhodey and the back and forth inform his future conversations with Tony.

Throughout the chapter I mainly kept thinking about Coulson and wether he was full of disdain for his super spies for not being able to figure it out or if he was just amused at the whole thing.Jarvis is the best <3

So far I'm really torn between "poor Tony" and "this is hilarious" This kind of willful selective blindness is both ridiculous and kind of realistic - people always prefer to ignore the arguments against their point of view. And it's even worse for Tony - he was a celebrity practically his whole life. And with celebrities of this size you can often assume that at least half of any given article about them is lies, made to fit narrative of said article. People always loved gossip and sensations and juicy rumors about personal life of public figures. Of course Tony learned that it's better to lie from the start and at least have some control over narrative, and give people less ammunition. It's kind of sad that the Avengers are same, though. Even Bruce?Glad, that Tony decided to embrace it)) It's bound to be fun)) I'm really looking forward to Tony trolling everyone for as long as possible))JARVIS is a treasure, by the way. So is Rhodey)

This is a very clever idea and you've written it in such a humorous way. Tony's relationship with Jarvis is brilliant, as are him and Rhodey. But this also has some lovely tragic elements- Tony's genuine bitterness that the world disbelieves his heroism, the exposition about lying. It's really great.
