So don't take this the wrong way, but I'm glad there's only three chapters. That means i won't have to long to wait to the end of this fabulous story. You have Tony down pat, seemingly flighty, but only his core people can see behind his mask (though lord knows he gives them plenty of clues, like anybody as ditzy as they think he is could have made all the weapons SI made or their weapons).

This is magnificent.

Tony needs so much therapy. Not due to his interactions with the Winter Soldier, but his relationship with the Avengers... poor guy is stuck in this weird mess of anger, obligation, fear and lingering affection. By comparison, his growing friendship with the maybe-psycho who killed his mom is downright healthy.(WS can see the appeal of living in the woods with a Stockholmed roommate for company. Tony needs to make a note of this in case of disappearance...)

ohmygod i love this ! i love your take on the winter soldier, havent really read anything like it. im anticipating how the next two chapters. im curious as to how youre gonna go about tony's relationship w/WS/bucky, are you gonna slowly bleed bucky and the WS together as he and tony get closer ? cause i mean they technically are one person and ive always imagined that psychologically the WS was smthg bucky subconsciously came up with himself as a way to cope against hydra, but ive read many different interpretation of it. anyway, kudos to you, this is so good !!!

I am fully expecting Soldier to get ticked at the idea of Bucky hanging out with Tony. I can just picture an angry letter being left for Bucky, which essentially says "You have a best friend, stay the f--- away from mine!" and another that essentially threatens Steve if Bucky messes with Tony. No, I take that last one back. Soldier would just do passive aggressive stuff to them, like do something to the shield to throw off the balance. I kinda am expecting that access to the penthouse (for the Soldier) is password protected, since they don't share memories. (And when Bucky tells Steve, which you KNOW he will, Steve will want to look at the room and they won't be able to get up to the penthouse and FRIDAY would be so peeved at them. Just "password"? Over and over again. And then informing them that they don't have clearance, and when Bucky points out he was there before FRIDAY very snippily informs him that the Soldier has a much higher clearance than either of them.) Is the Soldier going to confront Steve about beating on Tony? Man, if Steve ever threw a punch at Tony in front of Steve I could picture a very fast swap and a very ticked Soldier!I had so many ideas about what would happen next. ^_^ Looking forward to the upcoming chapters. Subscribed!Edit: I think that what Soldier has that Bucky doesn't, he is very possessive of. And Tony is his friend. PS I def thought that the book was foreshadowing. ^_^

I think i binged enough fics ofnyours for the last few days and since i finally have time to write a comment, i ll do it. First thing first, i love your style. I love the way you write the winter soldier, tony, bucky and everyone. I love how you write dialogue and the punch lines and the plot and everything. I ve read enough fics post CW which talk about tony as a helpless victim and no power left in him (and im a huge tony stark hoe), but i find your depiction most accurate to be honest (ofc, we can t know how everything is until infinity war comes out). Anywaaaay, i love the winter soldier. His sense of humour is dry and he s a troll and i love him. I m really curious if he s gonna defend tony in any way in front of the avengers. And bucky will start to warm to tony as well in the meantime and everything will be jolly (hopefully haha).Your characterization is amazing and your writing also amazing and gaaah, i m happy i stalked the bucky/tony tag and found you. And I just can't wait for Winter to react to that!Also, I loved the line about Winter rearranging Natasha's knives and framing Vision. The details you've added about life in the tower, such as the house rules, are hilarious--and yet you still manage to knock it out of the park when it comes to Tony's discomfort.
